Ce projet a débuté en mai 2017 et s’est terminé fin octobre 2022. Dans le cadre de ce dernier, l’ENSOSP a participé à la réalisation d’une plateforme disponible sur internet « e-Fire In ». La plateforme permet l’interaction entre les trois acteurs cités ci-dessus par des groupes de travail – via forum –, des recueils de besoins, des publications de résultats de recherche, promotion de conférence et actualités.

Les Dossiers sont l’un des principaux résultats du projet Fire-IN afin de promouvoir les solutions technologiques, la réglementation et les projets en lien avec un sujet précis choisi par les membres du projet selon les besoins utilisateurs préalablement recensés.

Ce troisième Dossier repose sur trois piliers principaux. Tout d'abord, nous avons la sélection de stratégies résilientes, qui permettent d'obtenir une certitude parmi les premiers intervenants. Ensuite, on explique que la mise à disposition d'un flux d'informations flexible est obligatoire pour un suivi efficace d'une situation d'urgence afin d’atteindre une compréhension mutuelle entre les différentes organisations de premiers intervenants. Enfin, le dossier indique que l'amélioration des technologies et leur alignement sur les défis actuels et futurs, en tenant compte des besoins en matière d'intervention d'urgence, est primordial.

Fire-IN Dossier 3 – Create certainty and shared vision of emergencies

Fire-IN is a European project funded by Horizon 2020 with the aim of setting up and leading a European network, to define and enhance innovation in the field of civil security between three main players who are practitioners (first responders), researchers and industries.

This project began in May 2017 and ended at the end of October 2022. As part of it, ENSOSP participated in the creation of a platform available on the internet named "e-Fire In". The platform enables interaction between the three players mentioned above through working groups - via forum -, needs collection, publication of research results, conference promotion and news.

The Dossiers are one of the main outputs of the Fire-IN project, promoting technological solutions, regulations and projects related to a specific topic chosen by project members according to previously identified user needs.

This third Dossier is built upon three main pillars. First we have the selection of resilient strategies, through which certainty among first responders can be achieved. Then it explains that the provision of a flexible flow of information for the efficient monitoring of an emergency situation is mandatory to accomplish a mutual understanding among different first responders’ organizations. Finally, the dossier states that the improvement of technologies and their alignment with current and future challenges, taking into consideration emergency response needs is overarching.
